What started out as a mission to make cheap drums sound and look good, Duckie’s wood workings have taken him a long way from just drums.

That’s right I started this whole thing painting drums and adding finishes, sometimes veneer, to the interior to change the overall tone. I had been asked to cut a few shells and re-edge them. Some of those drums where different colors and harder to cut through than others. Well since most drums are made from wood i figured it was time to learn species of wood. This opened up a whole rabbit hole of beauty I had never explored. I was always drawn to drums that show the wood grain and its beauty and I wanted to find other ways I can showcase these awesome figures and features to a more open audience other than just drummers. Thus began my journey into the world of furniture.

My focus is to create unique art pieces that also serve a purpose. One of a kind pieces made from 100% real hardwood. I use hardwood because furniture is art and you should feel secure when investing in your art piece.
